Reading at home

Please go to https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/ and click on the pink tab 'My Class Log In.'

Once you log in, you will have access to three different reading resources: Oxford Owl, which has a large range of e-books across all levels, Read Write Inc, which has a range of phonically progressive texts and Word Sparks, which offers audio texts. Under the parent guide there are a wealth of resources and videos, so this is really worth while to spend some time exploring.

Today you will need to log into MyMaths to look more at comparing fractions https://login.mymaths.co.uk/login. This will look at changing the denominator and comparing as a decimal.

Complete the lesson, answering the questions as you go. You can record your workings out in your homelearning books to help you. Then have a go at the homework section to test your skills.

 

Tuesday

Again using MyMaths. This time you will be looking at comparing fractions but both denominators will need to be changed to compare them.

History wk6 - Viking Jorvik Monday

This week we would like you to explore Viking Jorvik by watching the live streamed session at 2pm on Monday (they are repeated each day at 10am and 2pm with slightly different characters).  From the same link you can explore the virtual Tour of the museum which gives lots of information about how the Vikings lived. Then look at the text on the worksheet and complete the questions.
