Computing

Computing

In computing at Rockwell Green Church of England Primary school, children are taught a broad and balanced computing curriculum that covers the basic skills as well as developing their wider understanding of the use of technology in society.

There are 3 main branches of computing: Information Technology, Digital Literacy and Computer Science. Through the delivery of Purple Mash computing scheme we cover all three areas, following a clear progression of skills for computing as well as embedding e-safety knowledge and understanding.

Please see the policy below for more details.

Online Safety

At Rockwell Green we follow the National Curriculum and guidance to ensure the teaching of Online Safety is a priority in our school. Children are taught to have a positive and safe relationship with technology as well as staying healthy and happy online.

This is outlined in our Online Safety policy.
