Once you log in, you will have access to three different reading resources: Oxford Owl, which has a large range of e-books across all levels, Read Write Inc, which has a range of phonically progressive texts and Word Sparks, which offers audio texts. Under the parent guide there are a wealth of resources and videos, so this is really worth while to spend some time exploring.

Mental Maths

Daily fluency helps your child become faster at mental maths. 

Please use TTRockstars or Numbots in addition to the fluency.

Please find a video on DOJO showing how you can work out your answers by drawing Base 10 or by partitioning. There are problems towards the end of this video, the children may need support to work these out.

Spelling

This week we are looking at the prefixes tele and sub. Prefixes are a group of letters that change the meaning of a word when they are added at the start. Tele- means far or distant and sub- means under. Please look at the BBC Bitesize link to find out more about prefixes and play the games on EdShed.
