Wednesday 14th June
Today the Life Bus visited the school, so we went along to meet Karen and her special friend, Harold the Giraffe! Karen taught us all about looking after ourselves. She talked about exercise, the importance of sleeping, brushing our teeth, and eating fruit and vegetables. We enjoyed our time at the life bus and all listened really well. We also enjoyed stroking Harold the giraffe and telling him our favourite fruits.
We are very excited to announce that our NEW building is complete and we have moved in! We are enjoying getting to know our new room and explore our new toys. It is amazing to have so much more space and areas to play in. Here are just a few pictures to show what we've been up to.
Friday 12th May
Since our theme this half term is animals, we went on a walk across the basins to see what animals we might find. We found snails, slugs, dogs, a squirrel, a cat and we were very excited to find some cygnets!
Thursday 27th April
Our theme for this half term is pets/animals. We were very excited today to be making cat face biscuits! We all had lots of fun spreading the icing, and using the differently shaped sweets and icing shapes to make the different parts of the cats face. We then enjoyed eating them for snack!
Wednesday 15th March
Today we made some yummy gingerbread biscuits, fitting with this weeks theme, the Gingerbread Man. We all talked about the importance of washing our hands before cooking, and enjoyed making a go at mixing all the ingredients together. We did a good job and really enjoyed eating them for snack.
Thursday 2nd March
Today was World Book Day, so some of us dressed up as our favourite characters! Even the ladies dressed up. See how fab we looked!
Friday 27th January
On Sunday, it is Chinese new year, so today we observed this by trying some yummy Chinese food for snack. We tried noodles, rice, spring rolls and sweet and sour sauce. Lots of us tried the different foods and some of us even had seconds!
Friday 20th January
Today we were very excited to be going out on a walk to see the train tracks, and hopefully see a train! We were all very sensible and listened well to the ladies. Luckily, we managed to see a train!
Wednesday 18th January
We are loving the train theme today! We have lined up all the chairs to make a really long train. We decided we were going to the seaside where it would be lovely and sunny.

Welcome back to Rockets! We hope you all had a lovely Christmas break and are looking forward to being back. We are looking forward to meeting all our new children, we hope you are excited to be starting at Rockets! Our theme this term is vehicles, so we're going to be looking at cars, trains, boats, aeroplanes and more!
Friday 16th December 2016
Today was the last day at school before Christmas! To celebrate, we had a Christmas party and a feast! It was lots of fun, you can see from all our happy faces.
The Rockets ladies would like to wish everyone a very happy Christmas, we hope you enjoy your break! See you on Tuesday 3rd January.
Thursday 17th November
Today we enjoyed working together to plant some bulbs to make our garden beautiful. We talked about what the bulbs need to grow, and listened well when the ladies were telling us what we need to do to plant the bulbs. We look forward to seeing how they grow.
Tuesday 18th October 2016
This afternoon a special visitor came into Rockets. One of the Badger class' parents is a paramedic, and she bought her ambulance for us to look at and in! We had great fun pressing the buttons inside the ambulance and looking inside the back of it.
Friday 30th September
We have been enjoying our first few weeks back at Rockets. We have been enjoying being outside in the sunshine and the new children have been happily settling into Rockets. Here's a few pictures of what we've been up to.

Welcome back to Rockets after the lovely long summer break! We would like to welcome back all our old children, and also say a big hello to all the new children we have starting over the next few days! We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you all.
