Striking Storm Hits Cornwall

By Rowen on the rocking Rockwell news

Hero Mr Bawcock took his cat into a storm and he fishes from day to night to save a village.

The raging storm hit Mousehole, England. Mousehole is a coastal town at the far bottom of England.

Before Christmas at approximately 5.30am they went out to fish for the village.
The hero Tom Bawcock quoted “I felt relieved when I got back! Me and my cat saved the day!”
The witnesses were Tom, fellow Villagers, Tourist, The owner of the ship inn and the shop keeper.
A villager called Cody Jefferson quoted “Old Tom was very brave”!

It was the worst storm in 100 yrs and an old man went fishing in it! Tom quoted “the storm looked like a cat!”
Tom when out in the storm because the food supply got cut off and it could not be the younger men for they had mothers and children to weep for them if they did not return. He took the safest root and put the net in the water. He caught fish for the WHOLE village! They had a big fish feast after that storm and a lantern parade!

Every year they have a fish feast to the memory of old Tom. People come from all over the world to Mousehole.
