Raging Storm Hits Cornwall

By Daniel

A man risked his life to save the villagers because they had no food.  A powerful, raging storm hit the villagers of Mousehole. Mousehole is a village by the sea in Cornwall , in the south west of England.

Just before Christmas, a hero named Tom saved the villagers from starving. He went out to sea in the ferocious storm and came back late at night.
Tom Bawcock, went out in the sea off the coast of England. When he was asked about the storm Tom Bawcock replied “It was the worst storm in 100 years!”

He went out fishing in the ferocious storm. “I went out in the storm because there was no food left in the stores.” Tom mumbled. The villagers put lanterns out on the wall to guide Tom and Mowzer back.

He brought a boat of fish back in to the harbour then they had a fish festival.
