The man who saved the village was a fisherman and his cat called Mowzer.
Recently there was a petrifying storm across the South West of England along the coast of Cornwall. Fishing boats were sunk by the storm. In one small coastal village named Mousehole, the high harbour wall protected the fishing boats in their home harbour.
When they went to the harbour wall Mowzer started to purr a calming song to the storm, somehow it calmed the storm down, and got out of the storm into the fishing ground.
It was hard to pull the fishing nets out, so Mowzer purred her call again, and finally they pulled the nets in and they got Morgy broth, baked hake, cooked kedgeree, grilled fairmaids, Fried launces, soused scad, and star gazy pie. They went home and they feasted together until the hunger was no more than a memory…
