In the past few days there was a terrible storm. You may have heard of the storm it hit all of the South West of England.

There is a local fisherman called Tom and his cat Mowzer they are the heroes of the village. I asked him why he brought his cat with him and he replied “His cat means everything to him and she wanted to come with me.”

The storm was really rough and scary. No one would go out and get food for the village. Once in a while they would try to get out, they were lucky to escape with their lives.

Tom and Mowzer went out to sea to save Mousehole from starvation. They went out and tried to find fish and they did. They found THOUSANDS of fish that filled their boat. The storm started to calm down so they could get back through the harbour wall. When they got back they saw everyone was standing on the harbour wall. They were holding up lanterns to guide them home.

When Tom got back everyone had a HUGE fish feast. They had morgy broth, star-gazy pie, fried launces, soused scad, cooked kedgeree and much more. After that the hunger left Mousehole.
