Hero Saves Village From Starving

BY Oscar

A hero called Tom Bawcock went fishing to save his village and he  caught enough fish to last a life time.

In the south west of Cornwall of England Mr Tom Bawcock went fishing in a powerful raging  storm.

Just before Christmas there was a terrible storm. And Tom Bawcock went out and tookk his cat with him “But I didn`t bring her with me’’,

Explained Tom. “I Think if Mr Tom Bowcock didn`t take his cat he wouldn’t   survive’’

“It hit my boat and gave me and  Mowzer  a shock’’ grumbled Tom.

How old are you how old is your cat? “Well I don’t know how old Mowzer is but I’m over 60 years old’’, explained Tom . Why did you go in the storm? “Because the younger people have children and wife`s ‘’, mumbled Tom.

Why did your cat come? “She came because she wanted to.” snorted Tom. “I think Tom is a hero,” grumbled the Ship Inn’s owner.

How did you feel when you saw the lanterns? “I felt like I was a hero” sniggered Tom. Tom, do you like the people in your village? “Yes, I do.” explained Tom. I asked the owner of the Ship Inn, how did he feel when Tom came back? “I felt like we were saved.” He mumbled.
