Fisherman Survived Rapid Raging Storm

By Riley

A fisherman went out into a striking storm and caught enough fish to save a village. The two people called Tom Bawcock and his cat save village.
Just before Christmas a huge rapid storm hit Mousehole, Mousehole is a small village in Cornwall. It is by the sea in south west of England.

Tom Bawcock is over 60 years old and he is a fisherman. He has been a fisherman all his life. He has lived in Mousehole with his cat all his life, his cat’s name is Mowzer.

There was a horrendous storm in Mousehole, Mr Bawcock told us “This is the most terrible storm I have ever seen in my life time.” answered Mr Bawcock.

Early one morning Tom got his boat and went fishing. He fished all day in the horrendous weather.
“I went out into the storm to save the village from starving.” spat Mr Bawcock. The lanterns  guided Mr Bawcock and his cat  called Mowzer in to the harbour. How did you feel when you saw the lanterns? "I felt relieved to see the lanterns on the harbour wall and I felt like a hero.” explained Mr Bawcock. And they took out the fish in the boat and on that night they had a lantern parade and a fish festival.
